Emergency and corrective maintenance occur when equipment fails, requiring a rapid response and resources to correct the problems. GSAI has performed emergency repairs for clients throughout the world. GSAI is focused on ensuring facility reliability and availability at a minimum life cycle cost. Our team evaluates the needs of the respective facilities, their condition, performance and programmed activities, as well as expertly implements facility and systems expansion, upgrade, repair, modifications and rehabilitation using proven performance metrics derived from our experiences on past, similar projects.
Condition Monitoring
Condition Monitoring uses advanced technologies in order to determine equipment condition, and potentially predict failure. GSAI has used infrared thermography as a condition monitoring tool to assist in the reduction of maintenance costs on electrical equipment as well as to diagnose fire and life safety conditions associated with electrical systems in military and government facilities worldwide. The technique allows for the monitoring of temperatures and thermal patterns while the equipment is online and running under full load. Infrared thermography can be used on a wide variety of equipment including pumps, electrical panels, motors, bearings, pulleys, fans, drives, conveyors etc. Thermal imaging enhances a facility’s ability to find electrical hot spots, predict equipment failure and plan corrective action before a costly shutdown, equipment damage, or personal injury occurs.
GSAI provides facilities engineering services to assist owners, property and facility managers, and government agencies in maintaining their facility assets. These services have been provided at locations around the world, including highly secure government facilities and at major ports where ongoing operations must be maintained at all times. We have mobilized teams within hours of notice to proceed and on an emergency response basis. Services have regularly been conducted simultaneously at multiple locations worldwide, each site requiring identification and deployment of field teams, equipment, and materials.
